Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA / HHA to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in delivering personalized care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and home environments.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Monitor and record client health information, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within their living spaces.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities and hobbies to promote mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare settings such as clinics or hospitals is advantageous.
- Skills in geriatrics, medical-surgical care, emergency medicine, or trauma care (Level I or II) are highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff.

- Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team environment.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications as mandated by state regulations.
