Job Description:
We are a custom garage door manufacturing company seeking a reliable and hardworking Entry-Level Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position that is responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations, supporting production, and ensuring efficient handling of materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Start time between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Full-time 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Support production team with materials and general tasks
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials
- Prepare materials and orders for delivery or pickup
- Assist with general warehouse duties during non-delivery periods (organizing inventory, staging materials, etc.)
- Assist customers with loading products when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of the warehouse
- Maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices as required to maintain compliance.
- Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policies.
- Keep commitments and keep direct supervisor informed of work progress, timetables, and issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong math skills (must be able to read tape measure)
