Job Summary
We are seeking Truck Drivers for team dry van driving opportunity. .80/mi split. Can team up solo drivers. Trucks are 2021 Freightliners, Auto, includes upgraded refrigerator, microwave. Reset weekly in Phoenix. Strong and supportive dispatch keeps you moving! 3500-5500 mi/wk depending on routes and weekly cutoff. Our yard is in Mesa, AZ near 202/Country Club.
Duties
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers
- Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition by performing regular inspections and maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Manage routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption. Will provide list of preferred Pilot/Flying J fuel stops.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a 'mostly' clean driving record.
- All trucks have automatic transmissions, so automatic-only CDL OK
- Previous experience in OTR truck driving roles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to truck driving.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
