About Keksi
We're a premium gourmet cookie and gifting bakery that started with a simple idea born on a mission in Finland ("keksi" is Finnish for cookie). Six years later we're still baking everything fresh, in-house, and we take our product seriously — even if we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're looking for a baker to join our kitchen team.
The schedule (one of the best parts)
Our kitchen runs 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday — so most weeks, you're working just four days and have a three-day weekend. Great fit if you want steady, daytime hours without nights or weekends.
What you'll do
Bake cookies. Lots of cookies. You'll also make breads, brownies, and other baked goods, but cookies are the heart of what we do. Day to day, that means mixing, portioning, baking, and finishing product to our recipes and quality standards, keeping your station clean and organized, and helping keep production running smoothly.
What we're looking for
- Prior experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production environment
- A current food handler's license (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
- Someone dependable who can work independently and take ownership of their station
- Comfort following recipes and processes precisely, and consistency batch to batch
- Ability to stay on your feet, lift ingredient bags and sheet pans, and keep pace during busy production runs
