Overview
Musiu Optics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Optical Operations & Inventory Coordinator to support daily business operations, inventory management, order processing, and customer service activities. This role is responsible for coordinating product availability, managing eyewear inventory, supporting order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate operational records. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, customer-oriented, and interested in working in a growing optical and eyewear business environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily optical operations including inventory management, order processing, and product fulfillment
- Maintain accurate records of eyewear inventory, frames, lenses, accessories, and product availability
- Monitor stock levels and assist with purchasing, replenishment, and inventory planning activities
- Process customer orders and coordinate shipment preparation with fulfillment teams
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams regarding product status and deliveries
- Maintain product information, invoices, purchase orders, and operational documentation
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, labeling, and organizing incoming optical products
- Track customer orders, resolve fulfillment issues, and support timely deliveries
- Support retail and e-commerce operations, including product updates and inventory accuracy
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements to operational efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience in inventory management, retail operations, e-commerce, customer service, or supply chain coordination preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in optical, eyewear, fashion retail, or consumer products industry preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, POS systems, or order management software
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, or similar marketplaces is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, product fulfillment, and vendor coordination
- Understanding of optical products, eyewear terminology, or lens/frame categories is beneficial
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
