Required Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and articulation/phonological processes in young children
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other school staff
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for fostering student progress in diverse learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support PreK and elementary students in achieving their IEP goals and communication milestones
- Assist with assessment data collection and implementation of treatment plans
- Adapt activities and materials to accommodate diverse learner needs
- Communicate progress and strategies with educators and parents as directed
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
