- Operate and position spotter vehicles to assist with the safe movement of machinery, materials, and personnel across manufacturing areas
- Coordinate with machine operators and team members to ensure precise positioning during assembly, testing, and equipment installation
- Conduct routine inspections of spotter vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness
- Follow strict safety protocols during vehicle operation, including adherence to ASME codes & standards and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with equipment testing procedures such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing, and X-ray inspection techniques
- Collect data related to quality control inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and analysis of technical drawings or schematics for accurate interpretation
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, safety checks, and inspection reports to support quality assurance initiativesQualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience interpreting mechanical blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing processes is a plus
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing, X-ray inspection, and ultrasonic inspection techniques
- Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance procedures within manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed schematics for equipment setup or repairs
- Experience with data collection systems related to engineering testing or quality inspections is desirable
- Excellent safety protocol adherence skills aligned with industry standards including ASME codes & standards
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
- Prior experience in aircraft non-destructive testing or steel radiographic testing (RT) is advantageous
- Effective analysis skills for evaluating inspection results and troubleshooting issues during equipment operation or testing processes
