Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced High-End Construction Superintendent to lead luxury and sophisticated construction projects from inception to completion. This role demands a proactive leader with exceptional management skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering top-tier craftsmanship. As the cornerstone of our project teams, you will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will drive seamless coordination among subcontractors, vendors, and clients while maintaining strict adherence to project specifications and industry regulations.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all construction activities on high-end residential or commercial sites, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Develop detailed project schedules using Scheudling/construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively
- Oversee procurement processes, including reviewing contracts, managing budgets, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards and ensure quality control across all phases of construction
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and adherence to design intent
- Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid for cost control and budget management throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage subcontractors and vendors by assigning tasks clearly, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Implement project management best practices using tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, communication, and tracking progress
- Conduct site meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and team members to review progress, address issues, and coordinate upcoming work
- Use technical instruments such as an ohmmeter for electrical inspections or troubleshooting as needed on-site
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management within high-end residential or commercial projects
- Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities in managing diverse teams
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other industry-standard tools
- Deep knowledge of contracts administration, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control techniques
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and implementation of safety protocols on site
- Skilled in quality control procedures to ensure craftsmanship meets luxury standards
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes using HeavyBid or similar software
- Excellent management skills with a focus on coordination among multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Technical aptitude including use of measurement tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical work or troubleshooting
