Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, with a strong ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various plumbing projects, including residential and commercial installations.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly for various plumbing applications.
- Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and maintenance person professionals, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices while working on job sites.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction plumbing principles.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and the use of hand tools specific to plumbing tasks.
- Experience in field service operations is highly desirable.
- A valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
