Chadol Korean BBQ DC is seeking a Bartender to join our team!
Job Summary
We are looking for a bartender familiar with Korean drinks like soju. You’ll prepare cocktails, maintain a clean and organized bar, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance our guests’ experience. This role offers a steady pace and competitive pay in a welcoming Korean BBQ environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including Korean drinks like soju, following standard recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Engage with guests by offering drink recommendations and ensuring a positive experience
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Assist with setup and service for special events or banquets as required
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a dine-in restaurant environment
- Familiarity with Korean alcoholic beverages, especially soju and soju-based cocktails, is required
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Punctual with excellent attendance — being on time is essential
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to alcohol service
