Tribe is a member-only social platform that helps people meet through curated, hosted experiences around Los Angeles. We are hiring outgoing Brand Ambassadors to introduce Tribe to potential new members at busy locations throughout the city.
This is a paid, hourly field-marketing position. You will represent Tribe in person, start friendly conversations, explain how the platform works, and help interested people learn how to become members.
What You’ll Do
- Represent Tribe at scheduled locations around Los Angeles
- Approach and speak with potential members in a friendly, respectful way
- Clearly explain Tribe’s membership and hosted experiences
- Answer basic questions about the platform
- Distribute approved marketing materials
- Communicate regularly with the Tribe team about feedback and performance
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable starting conversations
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication and people skills
- Professional, positive, and approachable
- Comfortable working independently in busy public environments
- Familiarity with Los Angeles culture, neighborhoods, or college communities is a plus
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, promotions, retail, campus outreach, or customer service is helpful but not required
Schedule
Shifts are generally four hours and take place at preselected locations around Los Angeles. Initial locations may include Brentwood, West Hollywood, and the UCLA area.
Brand Ambassadors will receive a two-hour paid training covering Tribe, the role, conversation guidance, materials, and expectations for the first week.
