Position Summary:
The Methods Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing revision-controlled digital manufacturing work instructions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements, industry standards and internal process controls. This role serves as a critical liaison between Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning and Program Management to ensure documentation supports efficient and standardized manufacturing operations.
This position requires a strong understanding of electronic assembly manufacturing processes and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, structured, operator-focused instructions that reduce manufacturing risk and ambiguity.
Qualifications
§ U.S. Citizenship required.
§ Strong interpersonal and communication written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in English.
§ Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and demonstrated experience in a related position.
§ Minimum 2 years’ experience in electronic assembly build process and technical or procedure documentation required.
§ Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Manufacturing Execution System (MES); Aegis FactoryLogix preferred.
§ Exceptional attention to detail is supported by strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
§ Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
§ Knowledge of electronic component identification and experience with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) processes.
§ BOM structure knowledge is preferred.
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and CAD tools.
Responsibilities
§ Develop, maintain and manage revision controlled digital manufacturing work instructions.
§ Translate customer documentation, specifications, and process requirements into standardized manufacturing instructions that ensure repeatable execution.
§ Develop clear visual aids for process flows, inspection criteria, and assembly references to improve operator understanding and execution accuracy.
§ Interface with all departments as necessary with positive communication to demonstrate teamwork and cooperation.
§ Review and implement Document Change Requests (DCRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring timely and accurate documentation updates.
§ Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying documentation gaps, process risks, and opportunities for standardization.
§ Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting production and engineering deadlines.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
