Job Overview
Vision Concepts is seeking a dedicated and personable Optometric Technician to join our clinical team. In this full-time role, you will work directly with patients and our doctors to facilitate smooth and efficient eye examinations. You will assist with pre-testing, diagnostic imaging, and patient care, ensuring a positive experience for every individual. No prior optometric experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for eye exams by explaining procedures and ensuring they are comfortable.
- Conduct pre-testing procedures such as measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and other diagnostic tests.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging and equipment setup to support the optometrists during examinations.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, including sanitizing equipment and exam rooms.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring they feel well cared for throughout their visit.
- Support the clinical team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions, especially since training will be provided.
