Northeast Ohio Heavy/highway contractor located in Tallmadge, OH seeks a full-time, year-round heavy equipment mechanic. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing malfunctions and repairs, rebuilding and maintaining construction equipment such as cranes, excavators, backhoes/loaders, maintenance of light duty trucks, and various other power equipment repairs. Performs other duties as assigned such as gathering and delivering equipment/material to jobsites. Willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Pay is based on experience. Union position.
