Position Responsibilities:
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Perform structural framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, trim installation, and crown molding installation.
- Install flooring, cabinetry, doors, windows, stair components, and other finish materials.
- Complete tile installations using industry-approved waterproofing systems and best practices.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and other remodeling tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and homeowners.
- Follow company processes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Continue developing skills through ongoing training and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of residential remodeling experience, including tile installation experience.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, flooring, tile installation, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
