Position Summary / Job Scope
The Installs Program Coordinator supports the technology the world relies on for clean air, working on-site to coordinate the installation of PV Abatement Systems into customer facilities.
This role owns the full operational framework for Pfeiffer IQ activities — manpower, scheduling, execution, and documentation — serving as the central point of coordination between internal Pfeiffer teams and customer stakeholders. Success requires full operational visibility, translating complex workflows into structured systems, and keeping execution aligned with safety, efficiency, and project timelines, with reporting readily presentable to leadership at all levels.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills
This is a mid-level position and will be compensated on an hourly (non-exempt) basis. You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced forecasting and data modeling), PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerBI, and PowerApps.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

Develop short-term and long-range manpower projections and maintain forecasting tools.

Build and manage daily/weekly schedules aligned with workload, manpower, and customer priorities, coordinated with Service Management — accepting, deferring, or declining work scope.

Ensure equipment, customer readiness, and configuration changes (ECNs, upgrades, etc.) are in place before scheduling.

Serve as the communication hub between Pfeiffer and customer stakeholders, leading daily alignment meetings and making real-time calls on work authorizations, priority shifts, and safety escalations.

In coordination with Service Management, ensure audit-ready documentation and status reporting for tool status, including but not limited to delay logs, customer milestones, and applicable documentation (FAT, EPA, etc.), are completed and tracked appropriately. Ensure customer POCs and internal stakeholders are updated as necessary.

Develop real-time mitigation strategies to keep projects on track in coordination with Service Management, and serve as backup for the IQ Lead — assigning work, leading passdowns, and resolving blockers.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar industry.

Project management experience and/or certification.

BS in Engineering or related field.
Minimum and Preferred Education/Training/Experience
The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:

Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in STEM or technical program.
-
Military service with 6+ months of experience considered in lieu of degree and/or equivalent technical degree.
-
Technical certification or trade school diploma.
-
6+ months of experience gained through a certification, apprenticeship, or other facilities experience.

This position will require the use of Excel and the ability to manipulate customer information and PV information to blend a worksheet that both parties can understand and agree with.

Must be able to:

This is an office-based role, though work in an environment with chemicals and gases, wearing a safety vest, hard hat, booties, safety glasses, and gloves may be required on occasion.

Lift up to 30 pounds and may spend the majority of the time in the portion of the facility under construction.

Able to walk more than 5 miles in a workday on occasion in safety shoes.

Heavy use of keyboard
