Responsibilities of Activities Assistants:
- Assist in recreational activity with the residents.
- Play a vital role in our residents' well-being by planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
- Provide input into the planning of monthly recreation services.
- Document resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
- Write progress notes.
- Attend care plan meetings as appropriate.
Qualifications for Activities Assistants:
- High school graduate or GED
- Pleasant and outgoing individual
- Must be flexible and able to multitask
- Past long-term care experience helpful
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Able to work as a team
- Willingness to work into the evening and some weekends a PLUS!
Activities Assistants may start as early as NEXT WEEK!
Walk-in Interviews Welcome Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm!
