Comprehensive Counseling Center (CCC) is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice as an Independent Contractor (1099). We are a well-established group practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout New Jersey. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, collaborative mental health care in a supportive and professional environment.
Position Overview
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for clients across the lifespan. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of licensed therapists and mental health professionals.
Responsibilities
● Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
● Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
● Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications
● Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up appointments
● Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
● Collaborate with therapists and other providers regarding client care
● Comply with all applicable state, federal, and professional regulations
Qualifications
● Current PMHNP-BC certification
● Active and unrestricted New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license
● Active DEA registration and CDS license
● Ability to prescribe psychiatric medications in accordance with New Jersey regulations ● Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
● Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting preferred

Compensation
● Independent Contractor (1099) position
● Competitive 70/30 revenue split, with the provider receiving 70% of collected revenue
● Administrative support, scheduling assistance, billing, and credentialing provided by the practice
● Established referral network to help build and maintain a caseload
