What You'll Do

Infection Control Mastery: Spearhead the identification, prevention, and outbreak control strategies within the facility; track infection rates and antibiotic use.

Data & Policy Driver: Collect and analyze infection control data while developing, revising, and executing critical facility policies.

Educator & Resource: Design and lead ongoing training programs for staff, acting as the go-to expert for residents, families, and visitors.

Employee Health Champion: Manage employee health tracking, including immunizations, physical compliance, COVID documentation, N-95 fit testing (annual and onboarding), and safety protocol enforcement.

Cross-Functional Safety: Oversee resident isolation processes, ensure equipment safety, and promote a culture of uncompromising workplace health and safety.
What You Bring

Current New York State RN License in good standing.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing supervision or management experience in a long-term care setting.

Expertise: Deep knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitative, and medical-surgical nursing care, paired with a professional, self-motivated, and leadership-driven attitude.

Certifications: Current infection control certification (or a strong willingness to complete the CDC infection control preventionist training course); CPR certification is a plus.

Requirements: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and willingness to participate in the RN weekend on-call coverage rotation schedule.
