Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Kayak Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sharing information and engaging with diverse groups of people. We are looking for applicants with open availability to work both part-time and full-time positions. This is a great place to work with an incredible staff in an outdoor industry.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Passionate about the outdoors and sharing the area's beauty and history.
- Good driving record
- Hospitality and Guide driving experience strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Tour Guide or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Lifting 50 pounds+, walking, bending, stooping, extreme weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective group management and guest interaction.
- A passion for educating others and sharing knowledge about local history and culture.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing an outstanding visitor experience.
