We are seeking candidates with the following specialties, in addition to general nursing experience:
- Psych/Mental Health
- Pediatrics
- Obstetrics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master degree in Nursing from an accredited program to teach in the RN program, and a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Nursing to teach in the LPN/LVN program
- 3 years of experience in the practice of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Current, active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina and/or a multistate privilege to practice in SC.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
- Functional abilities to carry out classroom, clinical, and laboratory teaching responsibilities
- Competency in personal computer applications such as MS Office
- Requirement immunizations, current CPR, BLS, and HIPAA certifications
We have a need for both FT Didactic and PT Clinical Nursing Instructors. FT is salaried up to $78K; PT is 20 hours per week, up to $50/hr. Pay depends on your degree/specialty, and experience. Hours may vary daily and include evening, weekend hours.
