Position Overview
We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Loader to become part of our full-time warehouse and logistics operations team. This position is responsible for the safe handling, loading, unloading, and organization of freight and materials. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight, shipments, and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
- Transport, stack, and organize inventory within warehouse and loading areas
- Secure cargo properly to reduce the risk of shifting or damage during transit
- Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and correct labeling before and after transport
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, and related tools
- Assist with staging, preparing, and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Follow company procedures, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to achieve operational goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in loading, warehouse operations, shipping, or a related role is preferred
- Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing 50–75 lbs
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including standing, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Availability to work full-time schedules, including overtime when required
