Mechanical Drafting Designer / Drafter - Food Processing Equipment & Conveyors
Project Services Group is seeking a Onsite Mechanical Designer / Drafter with extensive Detail experience to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of Food Processing, Packaging & Conveyance Machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiencies. This is a challenging role with a significant impact in being sure projects are completed on schedule.
Responsibilities of Mechanical Drafting Designer:
- Efficiently Design and Detail Drawings
- 2 D CAD design of conveyors, food processing machinery, material handling, processing, and packaging equipment
- Ability to develop scope of work for a new project
- Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
- Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
- Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
- Manage Projects
Requirements Mechanical Drafting Designer:
- Highly proficient with AutoDesk Inventor and or CAD Mechanical
- (5+ years) Experience with Mechanical Design & Drafting
- Experience with Packaging & Conveyance Machinery diagrams (food industry a plus
- Engineering Degree a plus
- Deadline and detail-oriented

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Design & Detail of Conveyors & Food Processing Machinery: 5 years (Required)
- Autodesk Inventor: 3 years (Required)
