Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Kent Lube Fast Oil Change Assistant Manager to lead and support our automotive service team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of oil change services, ensure high-quality vehicle maintenance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate oil change procedures, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery
- Assist technicians with automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and maintenance tasks as needed
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment to perform vehicle servicing safely and effectively
- Manage daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and support team members to meet service goals
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and dealership policies
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions or concerns
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional maintenance or repair services to enhance vehicle performance
Requirements
- Dealership experience or background in automotive repair strongly preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics, oil changes, tire service, and vehicle maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Experience with alignment procedures and heavy lifting techniques required for vehicle servicing
- Service technician experience with a focus on automotive service excellence
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
