We want to work with exceptional people! Level Crossing Brewing Company is opening a second location at the highly sough-after Post District in downtown Salt Lake City. We are currently accepting applications for all taproom positions. Ideal candidates are people that have a passion for superior craft beer, high-quality food, love to work in a fun atmosphere, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Hourly rate posted in job ad includes average wage with tips. The positions requires Salt Lake County Health Department food handlers permits and UDABS on/off-premise sips & tips certifications. Duties
- Ambassador for Level Crossing Brewing Company.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of Level Crossing Brewing Company culture, products, and the taproom layout and be able to effectively communicate that information to our customers.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and Level Crossing standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including special dietary options and beverage selections
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld through proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage table settings, clean dining areas, and reset tables promptly for incoming guests
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Prior experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in serving, food handling, or hospitality roles demonstrates your ability to thrive in this position
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds
The ideal candidate will channel the passion we put into our beer and food into a memorable taproom experience for our guests. The candidate must be customer-focused, experienced in a restaurant/bar/taproom environment and have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
