Essential Responsibilities
· Deliver classroom and hands-on crane operator instruction in accordance with NCCER standards
· Utilize NCCER curriculum, testing procedures, and performance profiles
· Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate training records
· Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and industry best practices
· Conduct practical demonstrations and equipment operation training
· Foster a professional, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment
· Coordinate with GMCA leadership regarding scheduling, equipment, and student progress

Minimum Qualifications (Per NCCER Standards)
Candidates must meet NCCER instructor requirements, including:
· Current NCCER Instructor Certification or ability to obtain certification
· Must complete the NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP)
· Documented journey-level experience in crane operation and/or heavy equipment operation
· Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience preferred
· Strong working knowledge of crane safety standards and OSHA regulations
· Ability to teach both classroom and hands-on practical training
· Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications
· NCCCO Crane Operator Certification
· Previous teaching or workforce development experience
· Experience with mobile cranes, rigging, signaling, and lift planning
· Familiarity with NCCER accreditation and testing procedures
· CDL preferred but not required
