Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and team-focused Auto Parts Counterperson to join our automotive team. In this role, you will serve as the point of contact for customers and technicians seeking vehicle parts and accessories and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and order fulfillment.
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory control activities.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely order fulfillment and availability of parts.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly. .
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order processing. .
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
