Join our vibrant Child Care Center as a Support Staff member and be a vital part of creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. In this role, you will assist lead teachers and caregivers in providing high-quality care that promotes early childhood development, fosters positive behavior, and supports individual needs. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help shape memorable experiences for children across various age groups, from infants to preschoolers.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom activities by assisting with daily routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and social interactions to promote developmental milestones.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation and equipment checks.
- Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation among children.
- Collaborate with teachers to observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and special needs requiring additional attention or support.
- Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up activity stations, and ensuring smooth transitions between activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily updates, concerns, or observations about their child's well-being.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; ongoing training in child safety protocols is encouraged.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to foster positive learning environments.
- Previous hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children demonstrates your ability to adapt to various developmental stages.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
