About the Role
We're looking for a bright, dependable person who genuinely loves puppies to join our team as a Kennel Technician. This role carries real responsibility — you'll be the main caretaker for the puppies in our store, keeping their kennels clean, safe, and welcoming. No experience necessary; we'll train the right person. A working interview can be scheduled right away to see if it's a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary caretaker for puppies in-store, including feeding, weighing, and general daily care
- Clean and disinfect kennels, dishes, and laundry; sweep and mop as needed
- Work closely with our Vet Tech to learn basic medication knowledge and assist with administering vaccines
- Maintain a clean, presentable appearance for puppies and their kennels at all times
- Support day-to-day store operations as needed
Qualifications
- Must love puppies and enjoy hands-on animal care
- No prior experience required — training provided
- Positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working weekends as needed
