Part-Time Spanish Teacher (Preschool Program)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00–11:30 AM Ages: 2–6 years
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our trilingual preschool program. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and enjoys bringing language learning to life through play, songs, and interactive activities.
Responsibilities:
- Walk through preschool classrooms and teach short 15‑minute Spanish lessons to groups of children ages 2–6
- Follow our weekly curriculum plan and implement age‑appropriate language activities
- Support children’s learning through songs, movement, storytelling, and hands‑on materials
- Conduct language assessments as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children (preschool or early childhood preferred)
- Spanish fluency required
- Friendly, patient, and confident leading small groups
- Ability to follow structured curriculum while bringing creativity to lessons
- 12 ECE units / full qualification preferred
Hourly Payment: Teachers $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
- Hourly pay is determined based on experience
- We are a year-round school, closed for all federal holidays, with eleven of them paid. We are also closed the day after Thanksgiving, for a Winter break, and for one week each in Spring and Summer.
