Self-Storage Facility Manager

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Facility Manager to help operate our brand-new self-storage facility in Waterford, California.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of establishing a new facility from the beginning. The Manager will be responsible for daily operations, customer service, rentals, sales, collections, and maintaining the property to a high standard.

Responsibilities
● Manage daily operations of the facility.
● Welcome customers, handle rentals, payments, move-ins, and move-outs.
● Help customers select the right storage unit and explain rental agreements.
● Build occupancy through excellent customer service and follow-up with prospective customers.
● Monitor delinquent accounts and handle collections professionally.
● Conduct regular property inspections and keep the facility clean, secure, and well-maintained.
● Monitor gates, cameras, lighting, and overall property security.
● Maintain accurate customer records and office inventory.
● Monitor local competition and storage pricing.
● Work closely with ownership to help establish and grow the new facility.
● Assist other nearby facilities when needed.
Qualifications
● Customer service, sales, retail, property management, or self-storage experience preferred.
● Self-storage experience is a plus but not required for the right person.
● Professional, organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
● Basic computer and math skills.
● Strong communication and customer-service skills.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule
● Full-time
● 8-hour shifts
● Morning/daytime hours
● Weekday and weekend availability required
The Opportunity
This is more than a traditional storage-management position. You will be joining a brand-new facility and helping establish it from the ground up. We are looking for someone who will take pride in the property, build strong relationships with customers, and help make our Waterford location a successful and respected business in the community.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
