Position Summary
The Caregiver / Med Tech / Resident Aide provides compassionate, hands-on care and assistance to residents while promoting dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. Team members work closely with residents, families, and fellow staff to create a warm, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing and management staff.
- Assist with meals, hydration, activities, and resident engagement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Accurately document care provided.
- For Med Techs: administer medications in accordance with state regulations and community policies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies.
- Support the community’s mission of providing exceptional, family-centered care.
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, home health, or caregiving preferred.
- Med Tech certification preferred for medication administration positions.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
