ResourceTek, a leader in technical support services, is currently expanding our Industrial Maintenance teams to support preventative maintenance (PM) programs for our clients in Houston, TX on a part-time basis.
We anticipate PM work being scheduled on an ongoing, long-term basis, with approximately 3 PM days per week. Each PM day is expected to average around 12 hours, for a total of approximately 32-36 hours per week.
There may also be an opportunity for employees to transition to our full-time PM teams in the area based on fit, availability, and business needs.
Mechanical and Multi-craft Maintenance Technicians
Mechanical Technicians should have previous experience in troubleshooting, repairing, installation, and (PM) Preventative Maintenance programs for large industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Will perform mechanic and electronic programmed maintenance inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions and perform systematic analysis of problems and improvement opportunities. Responsible for mechanic and electrical repairs, replacements, and upgrades as well as assembly and disassembly of mechanical components. The ability to prioritize maintenance and troubleshooting procedures is necessary. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
Electrical Maintenance Technicians
Electrical / Electronic Technicians should have experience in inspections, troubleshooting, repair and installation of electrical equipment and components as it relates to heavy industry manufacturing. Technicians should have experience in electrical switches, AC/DC drives, motors and motor brushes, power semiconductors, low voltage and relay circuits as well as instrumentation (pressure, flow, temp), and brakes in general. PLC (Allen Bradley) and CNC controls knowledge with the ability to intervene and spot software or hardware failures is highly desirable.
