Job Description
We are seeking delivery drivers for our home delivery grocery service. We sell a weekly subscription box of fresh produce from our farm. The delivery driver is responsible for packing the van each day and dropping those boxes at our customer's doors throughout North and Central NJ, Pennsylvania and Staten Island. The position ends the last week of November, but returning drivers are entitled to draw on our unemployment insurance during the off-season.
Delivery work week is Tuesday-Friday. Delivery routes are 7.5-8.5 hours of drive time with approximately 30 minutes loading the van in the morning.
Qualifications
Clean driving record required. Background check required. A Motor Vehicle Report will be run during the interview process. No CDL required. Drivers must have their own smartphone. Our delivery vehicles are Ram Promaster vans, so some experience driving larger vans and vehicles is preferred. Non smoking applicants only. Our delivery driver represents our business and must be clean, presentable, and friendly.
Details
$16-$19/hr DOE. Work week is Tuesday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Extra hours may become available on Mondays or after delivery routes. All employees are entitled to free produce, bread, eggs and a discount on all other grocery items. Bonuses given depending on attendance.
