Coastal Painting Contractors (CPC) is a rapidly growing commercial painting and specialty coatings contractor based in Naples, Florida. We work with property managers, general contractors, and developers across Southwest Florida on interior and exterior repaints, waterproofing, texture, and coatings systems for commercial and multifamily properties.
CPC is run by a management team who previously built and sold one of the largest painting companies in Canada and experience of over 35+ years in the coating industry. Demand keeps climbing, and we are building out our Southwest Florida team to keep up with it.

The Role
CPC is seeking a full time, in office General Accountant to oversee high level accounting for CPC and our flooring sister company, Coastal Flooring Systems (CFS), from our Bonita Springs office. This role owns accounts receivable, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions between the two entities, reports directly to ownership, and reviews the work of our Junior Bookkeeper.
This is a strong fit for someone who wants real ownership over the numbers, not just data entry, and who is comfortable being the most senior accounting person in the building.
What You'll Do
- Oversee high level accounting operations across CPC and CFS
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and aging review
- Perform account reconciliations across all entity bank and credit accounts
- Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations between CPC and CFS
- Own the month end close process and produce accurate financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, for both entities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our outside CPA and tax firm, coordinating year end tax prep and any audit requests
- Review and guide the work of our Junior Bookkeeper, ensuring data entry, AR, and reconciliations are accurate and current
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation in QuickBooks Online
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of full cycle accounting experience, ideally in construction, contracting, or a multi entity environment
- Strong QuickBooks Online skills, comfortable managing multiple sets of books
- Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Able to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines without heavy oversight
- Comfortable handling confidential financial information with integrity
- Clear communicator, able to work with ownership, outside CPAs, and internal team members
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred, CPA not required
