MTI Limo and Shuttle is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all HR functions across the organization. This role will be responsible for developing HR policies, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting leadership in building a high-performing workforce.
The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, people-focused, and experienced in managing HR operations within a fast-paced service or transportation environment.
Human Resources Operations

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Maintain employee records, files, and HR documentation
Recruitment & Staffing

Manage full-cycle recruitment for drivers, dispatchers, administrative staff, and management roles

Coordinate interviews, background checks, onboarding, and orientation

Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs
Employee Relations

Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution

Handle disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations professionally and legally

Promote a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture
Performance Management & Training

Support performance review processes and employee development plans

Coordinate training programs, including compliance, safety, and company standards

Assist managers with coaching and performance improvement plans
Payroll, Benefits & Compliance

Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration (health insurance, PTO, etc.)

Track attendance, leave, and workers’ compensation matters

Ensure proper classification of employees and contractors
Leadership & Strategy

Advise leadership on HR best practices and workforce planning

Support company growth initiatives through effective HR strategy

Maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3–5+ years of HR management or generalist experience

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred

HR experience in transportation, logistics, or service-based industries

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification

Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and recruiting platforms
