About the Role
Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about customer service? Cali Botanicals is looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our Folsom team for weekend shifts!
In this role, you’ll be the face of our shop—helping customers explore our botanical and CBD products, keeping store displays fresh, and preparing orders with care. We offer a positive, freethinking, and supportive environment where hard work and proactive energy are recognized and rewarded.

Compensation: $18/hr + Tips
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Sales:
- Welcome customers with a warm, helpful attitude and guide them to products that match their needs.
- Share knowledge on kratom, CBD, and botanical products with confidence (training provided!).
- Process transactions accurately using our Apple-based POS system (cash, card, and digital payments).
- Recommend complementary products and upsell to enhance the customer experience.
- Product Preparation & Packaging:
- Package products with precision, hand-weighing orders using scales and heat sealers.
- Apply product labels and stickers with keen attention to detail.
- Store Operations & Maintenance:
- Maintain clean, organized displays, restock shelves, and monitor inventory levels.
- Keep the workspace spotless (cleaning, restocking, and waste prep).
- Handle store opening and closing procedures efficiently.
What We’re Looking For

- Customer-First Mindset: Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable building rapport with guests.
- Physical & Tech Capabilities:
- Ability to lift and handle packages up to 60 lbs.
- Tech-savvy with Apple devices and POS systems.
- Solid basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Eagerness to Learn: Open mind and willingness to master kratom strains, effects, and botanical knowledge quickly.
- Proactive Spirit: Self-motivated team player who takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
- Familiarity with kratom, CBD, botanicals, or natural wellness products.
