The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service, creating a positive shopping experience, and supporting the overall success and daily operations of the store.
The Sales Representative is expected to be reliable, punctual, professional, and responsible when assisting both existing and new customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
- Greet every customer promptly and professionally to create a positive sales and shopping experience.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Metro by T-Mobile products, services, and solutions.
- Clearly explain current promotions, products, services, pricing, and company policies to customers.
- Assist existing customers with account needs, upgrades, and available services.
- Process sales transactions and complete all administrative aspects of each sale accurately.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Follow all company and Metro by T-Mobile policies and procedures.
Store Operations
- Maintain proper inventory and floor stocking levels.
- Keep product displays organized, accurate, and presentable.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and ready for customers at all times.
- Clean and maintain the store every day, including the sales floor, counters, displays, and other customer-facing areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming store environment.
Attendance & Responsibility
- Arrive on time and be ready to work at the scheduled start time.
- Maintain reliable attendance and communicate appropriately regarding schedule or attendance issues.
- Take responsibility for providing quality service to both new and existing customers.
- Work as a team to achieve store sales, customer service, and performance goals.
