The Role
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager (GM) in overseeing daily operations and leading our team to ensure high-quality guest service. You will wear many hats—from hands-on coaching and staff development to managing inventory and driving profitable sales. You will often serve as the lead manager in the GM's absence, fostering a strong culture of teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, coach, and develop your team to foster a positive and productive culture.
- Guest Experience: Ensure genuine, welcoming, and responsive service while resolving guest complaints to maintain high satisfaction.
- Operations: Manage schedules, budgets, and inventory while ensuring adherence to all company policies.
- Financial Performance: Track and analyze financial reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Safety & Compliance: Oversee strong safety and food safety protocols to protect our people and the business.
What We Seek
- Experience: 3 years of Restaurant Senior Management experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills. English is required; bilingual is a plus.
- Technical Skills: The ability to interpret basic financial and operational reports is required.
- Personality: An energetic, positive leader who is passionate about both food and people.
- Preferences: Experience in scratch cooking or high-volume concepts is highly desirable.
