Training Specialist – In Person
Join OM Group’s mission-focused team to support delivery of enterprise user training for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' new Construction Management Platform (CMP), powered by Kahua, which is replacing the legacy Resident Management System (RMS). This is a non-personal-services contractor role supporting HQUSACE's Construction Management Innovation Office (CMIO) and Construction Management Technology Modernization Office (CM TMO). The Trainer will work as part of the training team to ensure instruction meets established training standards and provides consistent, high-quality learning experience for participants.
Responsibilities
- Develop curricula and training materials for multiple modalities.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging instructor-led CMP training sessions at USACE-designated in-person facilities.
- Complete post-session administrative tasks, including attendance documentation and participant evaluation collection.
- Travel to sequential training locations as scheduled; where feasible, provide continuity by facilitating consecutive sessions in the same region.
- Pre-configure the training environment for each session, including populating sample data, actions, and tasks per CMP Developer-provided materials.
Requirements
- Professional training certification (CPTM, CPTD, or equivalent) and 3+ years of demonstrated experience delivering effective training; OR
- 5+ years of adult training facilitation experience with a proven track record of effective training supported by documented training evaluations.
- Instructor experience training users on new software platforms.
- Experience with Kahua (preferred)
- BS degree
- 80% Travel
- This position is contingent upon award and expected to begin in late 2026.
Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $85,000 to $100,000.
