We are seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth by developing new business and managing customer relationships in the material handling industry. This role requires strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability to connect with decision-makers, uncover operational needs, and provide tailored material handling solutions—including loading docks, sectional doors, conveyors, racking systems, and warehouse automation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business by identifying warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities that need material handling solutions.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand customer pain points and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and safety.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with operations managers, facility directors, and purchasing teams. (Interpersonal Skills)
- Stay composed and professional when handling objections or competitive situations.
- Communicate clearly and assertively to ensure customers fully understand the value of proposed solutions.
- Adapt sales strategies based on customer industry, budget, and operational challenges.
- Maintain an optimistic mindset while navigating long sales cycles and complex purchasing decisions.
- Take full ownership of sales performance by tracking activities, following up consistently, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (service, parts, and engineering) to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in B2B sales, material handling, or industrial equipment sales preferred
- Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to connect, persuade, and build long-term customer relationships
- Knowledge of Industrial doors, storage systems, dock equipment, automation, or warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to navigate long sales cycles and manage multiple accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable to a changing marketplace
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients
