Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber: New Construction and Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across new construction projects and existing service calls. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems are installed correctly, operate efficiently, and meet all safety standards. Duties
- Install plumbing systems in new construction sites, including piping, fixtures, faucets, and appliances following blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on existing plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform remodeling, assembly, and handyman tasks related to plumbing or general maintenance as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance and quality assurance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Construction Plumbing practices and installation techniques.
- Experience with soldering, gas pipe threading, reading of Plans, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Plumbing aptitude with a solid understanding of plumbing systems within commercial or residential environments.
- Field service experience with troubleshooting and repairing plumbing issues efficiently on-site.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Plumbing experience including remodeling and maintenance.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
