Take a virtual tour at www.rmcare.com. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist Assistant with full time availability. Our COTA will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring a patient’s progress to make sure that they’re successfully completing treatment
- Encouraging the patient during their recovery process
- Helping patients to improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems
- Teaching patients with disabilities to become more independent
- Updating patient records for the Occupational Therapist
- Keeping the office, treatment room and equipment in good order
- Teaching patients, family members or other Caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program
Hunter Hollow is a 105 bed SNF newly opened in Feb 2011. We feature a 40 bed transitional care unit and a 1500 square foot rehab gym with the latest in rehab equipment including: four sci-fit bikes, electric parallel bars, electric stand in frame and tilt table, treadmill, ceiling light track system, and free motion pulley system. The gym includes a full kitchen and bath for ADL training as well as a separate speech therapy treatment room.
Our COTA would join our PT, OT, and ST services to a varied clientele including orthopedic (post surgical, multiple trauma, after fracture care), neurologic, and chronic disease).
