Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape / Hardscape Installer and bring outdoor visions to life! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for installing beautiful and durable landscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional and stunning environments, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction every step of the way. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and grow your skills in landscape construction.
Responsibilities
- Install hardscape components such as pavers, stonework, concrete forms, and masonry features with precision and attention to detail
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation of landscape features
- Assist with site preparation, including grading, excavation, drainage setup, and foundation work for various landscape structures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high standards of quality
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, sealing joints, trimming carpentry work, stucco application, and concrete finishing
- Conduct inspections during installation to adhere to safety protocols and project specifications; communicate any issues promptly
- Support other construction activities like roofing, framing, plumbing rough-ins or electrical setups related to landscape projects when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape or landscape installation; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction drawings
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in masonry, carpentry, concrete forming, tile laying, and related tasks
- Knowledge of construction management practices including estimating and inspection processes
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Relevant experience in masonry, restoration work, glass or cabinet installation is advantageous
- Certifications or experience in plumbing or electrical systems are beneficial but not required
