We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function, mobility, and pain levels
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices and patient goals
- Perform therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise prescription
- Manage discharge planning to ensure seamless transition of care from hospital or outpatient settings to home or community environments
- Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with clinical documentation standards
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on treatment techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or outpatient rehabilitation centers
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, and geriatrics
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation standards
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatric and geriatric patients
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and treatment planning
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient needs
- Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes and home & community care coordination
- Prior experience with outpatient rehabilitation programs focused on patient rehabilitation and mobility improvement
