As the National Media Senior Manager, you will manage and develop a team focused on our National Media News publishers, specifically driving growth and engagement within the national media team.
You will be a key contributor within the North American News Partnerships leadership team, responsible for executing the partnership strategy and overseeing the evaluation, definition, and negotiation of impactful partnerships across a broad portfolio of media organizations. You will guide your team in prioritizing partnerships that accelerate key priorities, including content licensing, publisher product adoption, sustainability, and audience growth as this requires managing a high-volume of engagements, drive operational excellence, ensure alignment across stakeholder groups (including Product, Policy, Legal, and Communications), and operate as a player-coach for your team. - Manage a scaled portfolio of deals and partnerships engagements with National Media News publishers, executing contract structures and working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and business development teams to drive impact.
- Execute business development life-cycles requiring technical knowledge of distribution architecture, content frameworks, and linear-to-digital streaming rights across a high volume of partners.
- Drive targeted partnership strategies with the objective of optimizing content acquisition and accelerating adoption of Google products, structuring multi-product partnerships.
