Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces across multiple commercial facilities
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately to ensure safety during all cleaning activities
- Handle heavy cleaning equipment and supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury
- Assist with custodial duties such as window washing, floor care, and restroom sanitation to maintain hygiene standards
- Safely lift and move heavy objects or supplies as required for cleaning or maintenance tasks
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of manual handling procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled timeframes
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and adherence to safety instructions
