Parts Operations Manager Florence, Kentucky
We are hiring a Parts Operations Manager with strong experience in high-volume parts distribution. If you’ve worked in a large parts warehouse or distribution center and are ready to step into a leadership role at a dealership, this is an excellent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire parts department including inventory management, procurement, warehousing, and distribution
- Apply strong inventory management and supply chain principles to optimize stock levels, increase turns, reduce obsolescence, and achieve ideal days supply
- Track and improve key performance metrics daily (fill rate, inventory accuracy, turns, gross profit, counter sales)
- Drive retail parts sales and deliver excellent customer service at the counter
- Manage vendor relationships and logistics to support both internal service needs and external customers
- Hire, train, motivate, and lead the parts team (counter staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel)
- Monitor and improve department financial metrics (gross profit, inventory health, expenses)
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in parts distribution, warehouse operations, or high-volume inventory management
- Strong background working with KPIs and inventory accuracy metrics
- Proven leadership experience managing a team
- Retail or customer-facing experience is a plus
- High energy and ability to work a retail schedule — Monday through Friday plus one Saturday per month
- Prior dealership Parts Manager experience is not required — full training and support will be provided
Compensation:
- Base salary $68,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
- Performance bonus based on sales, inventory metrics, and department profitability
- Total earning potential $90,000 – $130,000+
