Job Description
- Assembles airline seats partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and read measuring instruments to fasten parts together.
- Assembling parts, measuring tolerances, operating power tools, using adhesives.
- Must be able to read and interpret average to complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Must be able to check blueprints rev’s on the computer and know where to look up WPS and QAP on the computer.
- Must be able to perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
