We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (dual-certified PMHNP/FNP) or Physician Assistant with CAQ-Psy certification to join our clinical team at a residential inpatient mental health facility in Georgia.
This is an on-site, in-person role providing direct patient care in a structured residential setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments upon admission
- Perform physical exams and ongoing clinical evaluations
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects
- Review and interpret labs and diagnostic results
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
Qualifications
- PMHNP/FNP dual certification required
OR
- Physician Assistant with active CAQ-Psy certification
- Active, unrestricted Georgia license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient or residential behavioral health preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
